This website features a collection of machining oriented videos that range from basic machining practices used on the lathe and mill, to advanced techniques for those looking to further their skills. There is even a tutorial section where you can watch and follow along as projects are built from start to finish from furnished and available drawings. Don’t feel like learning? Then visit the links page for one of the most extensive collection of machining oriented links on the web. There is a lot to see here so dig in and explore, you just might learn something new!

• <H2> I was updating the links page today and decided that it’s time to rebuild the website. My son and I are going to start planning it out next week, so if anyone has any suggestions, or comments, now is the time. I know it’s kind of awkward to click on the icons that take you to the videos, so that will be fixed with the new design. I was also thinking about adding a page where you guys could show off your projects and maybe expand the reference page a bit. If anyone has any other suggestions, just drop me a line on the contact page.
• <H2> Still to come will be the final installment of the series on the clamp knurling tool. Now that the case hardening is done, all that is left is assembling the pieces and giving a quick demo on how to use it. Once that series is complete, I plan to concentrate on making a few instructional videos. The projects are fun, but take a tremendous amount of time and I have a few topics that I’ve been meaning to cover on the instructional side. Some ideas I have in mind are a safety video on the most dangerous part of using machinery, entanglement, one on using the rotary table, and maybe something on the machinability of various metals. Anyway, there is a lot to look forward to, so stay tuned.
